Dinleme
Plus 2 minutes to check your answers (computer-delivered).
Okuma
No extra transfer time — write answers as you go.
Yazma
About 20 minutes for Task 1, 40 for Task 2.
Konuşma
11–14 minutes across three parts.
The real format
Official question types, official timings, official word limits — including the ones that fail an answer for being one word too long.
Marking that teaches
Every question tells you not just the answer but where it was, why the distractor was wrong, and what the question type is testing.
Honest band scores
Raw scores convert using the published indicative tables, and we say plainly that no practice score can promise a test-day band.
Writing you can act on
Word count, paragraphing, lexical range and sentence variety are measured and explained. What needs an examiner is left unscored, not guessed.
Speaking with a real clock
One minute to prepare, two minutes to talk, and a recording you can listen back to.
One MidorID
The same account as the rest of Midorimax. Your progress follows you.
One complete practice test
- Reading — 3 of 3 passages, 40 questions, fully marked and explained.
- Listening — 4 of 4 parts, 40 questions, with the recording read aloud by your browser.
- Writing — both tasks, with measured feedback on length, structure, vocabulary and sentence range.
- Speaking — all three parts, with recording, a real preparation clock and transcript analysis.
That is one full paper — Reading and Listening are complete at 40 questions each. Worth knowing before you start: there is currently only one test, so once you have worked through it the questions will be familiar the second time round.
IELTS does not publish a fixed raw-to-band table, and every real paper is equated against its own difficulty. These bands use the widely published indicative conversions: honest for tracking progress, not a promise about test day.
Writing and Speaking are analysed by rule, not by an examiner. Measurable things are measured; anything needing human judgement is left unscored rather than guessed.
